Legendary actors Nandmuri Taraka Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and S V Ranga Rao starrer ‘Gundamma Katha’ is one of the highly popular and ever green classical films in Telugu. This film is likely to be remade soon, and this buzz has been circulating in T-Town from quite sometime.
Young hero Nagachaitanya and young Tiger Junior NTR are likely to play the lead roles in the film.
The latest buzz about this remake is that yesteryear’s actress, Kalabhinethri Vanisri is being considered for the lead role i.e. the role of ‘Gundamma’ in the film. Popular actress Suryakantham played the role in the original version.
Though many gossips have come up about ‘Gundamma Katha’ remake, there have been no official announcements so far about the remake. Sources say that if things favour, the film is likely to go on floors in 2012.
